Kix Cereal

4th of July Patriotic Parachute

This is such a fun project to do with the kids this Independence Day. Send their favorite toys up in the air for a high flying, parachuting, 4th of July celebration!

The steps:

1. Cut about a 10″x 10″ square from a plastic grocery bag.

2. Tie individual pieces of string to each of the four corners.

kix-science-gravity-33. Tie all four strings to a small toy.

kix-science-gravity-44. Place some confetti in the center of the bag.

kix-science-gravity-65. Carefully fold up the bag with the confetti inside.

kix-science-gravity-56. Throw the toy and parachute high into the air and watch as the toy and confetti come floating down!
