Food Art: A Monkey Breakfast

This super silly monkey English muffin breakfast is so cute, your kids are going to want it every single morning – and you won’t mind because it’s really easy to make and it’s tasty too!

What You’ll Need

Monkey snack ingredients

Ingredients:

1 half an English muffin

A few tbsp. of peanut butter

3 slices of banana

2 black currants or raisins

Tools:

A kitchen knife (please supervise children if allowing them to use the knife)

 

How To Make It

How to make a Kix Monkey Snack

1. Using your knife, spread some peanut butter on your slice of English muffin.

Add banana slices to make the ears and mouth

2. Take 2 slices of banana and place them on your monkey for the ears.  Slice the third piece of banana in half and put it on the English muffin for the monkey’s mouth.

Use currants or raisins for eyes

3. Grab either two black currants or two raisins, and place them on the monkey for eyes.
