Ingredients:

1 green apple

1 small slice of strawberry

1 tsp of cream cheese

Berry Berry Kix cereal

Tools:

a sharp kitchen knife (please supervise children if allowing them to slice)

How To Make It

1. Using your knife (supervise children), slice one half off your green apple.  Slice the bottom off of this slice as well and place this piece of apple on the plate.  This piece will be the whale’s body.  From the remaining piece of apple, slice 2 smaller, oval-shaped pieces.  Place these slices on your plate for the whale’s tail.

2. Grab a few handfuls of Berry Berry Kix cereal and place it underneath the whale for the “sea.”  Also grab some of the purple-colored Kix and use them to create water coming out of the whale’s spout.

3. Finally, affix the facial details using tiny dabs of cream cheese to help the details stay on.  I stuck on 2 blueberries for the eyes and a tiny slice of strawberry for the mouth.
