Food Art: A School Bus Snack
BEEP BEEP! The school buses are up and running and kids are returning to school. This yummy school bus snack takes only 3 ingredients, and you won’t believe how easy it is to make. Maybe it’s your little one’s first time on the school bus ,or maybe they are an old pro: either way, they’re going to love this fruity school bus snack.
What You’ll Need
Ingredients:
1/2 cup of pineapple, sliced into small pieces
2 black plums
A handful of Kix cereal
Tools:
A kitchen knife (please supervise children if allowing them to slice)
How To Make It
1. Take your small pieces of pineapple and arrange them into a school bus shape on a plate. It doesn’t have to be perfect, just have a general outline.
2. Using your kitchen knife, slice the top off of both of your black plums. Place the black plums on your pineapple school bus for the wheels.
3. Next we’re going to add some Kix cereal details. I added 2 pieces of Kix cereal to the wheels, 1 for the headlight, and made a line of Kix cereal at the bottom of the plate for the road.
