How To Make It

game day sandwich step by step

1. Assemble your sandwich using 2 slices of pumpernickel or rye bread and lunch meat of your choice – I used a slice of turkey bologna.  Using your knife, carefully slice your sandwich into an oval shape.  Place this sandwich on a plate.

2. Grab your slice of mozzarella cheese and slice it into an oval shape, just like your sandwich.

3. From your oval slice of cheese, slice 2 half inch wide slices off each end of the cheese.  Place these slices of cheese on top of your sandwich.

4. Lastly, slice 5 very thin slices from your piece of cheese and place these in the center of your football sandwich.
